How can I play a VCD on my Personal Computer (PC)?

If you have a PC (Pentium 120 or better), a CD-ROM drive, and a good video card, you can use a software-only MPEG decoder.  You can download the software (if you don't already have it installed on your machine) free from Microsoft.

bulletWindows Media Player, free, from Microsoft.

Start Windows Media Player and open
X:\MPEGAV\MUSIC01.DAT
Where 'X:' is your CD drive
